Always Eat Well with the Char Broil Charcoal grill!

When it comes to buying gas or charcoal grills and accessories, always choose a well-known and reliable manufacturer like Char Broil Charcoal grill and you won’t be disappointed.  Char Broil Charcoal grills have a number of distinctive features, which I will be happy to explain.

Char Broil Charcoal grills have their own distinctive style which sets them apart from their nearest competitors, such as the Weber charcoal grill which is more or less the shape of a kettle.  The Char Broil Charcoal grill has a much larger surface area for cooking, owing to its rectangular shape. In addition to this, the Char Broil Charcoal grill is easy to fuel via the charcoal access door, so you can easily move your heat source or add briquettes. Furthermore, the Char Broil Charcoal grill range has an easy-to-control heat adjustment feature and great versatility, because of its adjustable charcoal grate.

This is my opinion about the good and bad points of the Char Broil Charcoal grill product:

Good Points

  • Tough, heavy-duty steel body and powder-coated finish which is highly weather-resistant.
  • Hood thermometer is built in – The built in Char Broil Charcoal grill thermometer allows you to monitor closely your cooking temperature to give perfect cooking results every time.
  • Adjustable charcoal grate – This useful feature lets you move your charcoal level up or down quite easily, so you can fine-tune the amount of direct heat your food is getting.
  • Charcoal access door – This provides an easy way to add charcoal or to move your coals as required, even after you have started cooking.  This useful Char Broil Charcoal grill feature is not present on many other charcoal grills.
  • Large working area – When cooking for a large number of guests, the Char Broil rectangular grill grate provides plenty of room for you to cook everything simultaneously. This applies especially to the Santa Fe and CB940X models, which both give much more cooking area than the closest rival, the Weber 22-1/2” kettle grill.  This larger cooking area is a great feature for when you need indirect heat grilling, because it gives you plenty of space for two, big piles of coal on each side and a wide cooking area in the centre for meat and poultry roasting.
  • Optional Rotisserie – Char Broil also offers you an optional motorized rotisserie that can be easily fitted to the majority of their grills.

Bad Points

  • Large size – The Char Broil line of grills is not easy to move over long distances, although it is fine for moving around on its wheels, in your backyard.  In addition, as you would guess, a large grill interior needs plenty of charcoal to achieve a good cooking heat over the whole cooking space.  Of course, if you often cook for a crowd of family and friends this is no problem, but be aware that if you generally cook for just a couple of folks, each cooking session will use a lot of charcoal.
